• Founder

    Nathan lives in Lexington, KY and spends most of his time on the road or in the air. He is involved in the International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE), the local ISEE Bluegrass Chapter, and coordinates the Kentucky Blasting Conference.

    Education

    Nathan graduated from the University of Missouri - Rolla (UMR) with a BS, MS, and PhD in the Mining and Explosives Engineering fields.

    Profession

    Nathan is a Principal Consultant with DynoConsult, Instructor at University of Kentucky, professional engineer, and licensed blaster.

    Favorite Project

    Multi-month implementation and introduction of drill and blast at a cement quarry operation in France.

 

Meet the

Nathan and Tristan formed the BlastMasters in 2019 to provide helpful videos to the drilling and blasting industry. They’re passionate about blasting and sharing their knowledge through helpful instruction videos, training courses, general site work and support, and social settings.

    Tristan is also based in Lexington, KY but spends more time on the roads and on planes than at home. Tristan is a past board member of the ISEE and is active in the leadership of the Bluegrass chapter of the ISEE and the Kentucky Blasting Conference.

    Tristan graduated from UMR with a BS and MS in Mining and Explosives Engineering. He also graduated from the University of Kentucky with his PhD in Mining and Explosives Engineering.
